Pentecost Picnic

Join us Sunday, May 19, after the 10:15 am service for a potluck lunch, and activities for all ages. The Cathedral will provide fried chicken; you’re invited to bring a dish to share.

There will also be outdoor games in the garden and fun raffle prizes you can win!

Pentecost, traditionally regarded as the birthday of the Church, falls 50 days after Easter. It’s the day to wear red, the Pentecost color, and to hear the story of the rushing winds and tongues of flame that signified the presence of the Holy Spirit among Jesus’s disciples.

Whether you’re new to the Cathedral or have been around for a few decades, this is an opportunity to connect with others and discover ways to get involved.
